2018/18 SEASON COMPLETED!

The season is done and dusted. Congratulations to the Class and Overall Handicap winners in both grades and thanks to all the riders who put their bodies to the test and challenged themselves and their vintage machines. Thanks especially to the organisers from Northland to Wellington and those who helped at the rounds and to Silver Bullet Events for the wonderful scoring service they provided and all of you for the great photos contributed. Thanks especially to Greg Power and Power Adventures for help with the series trophies.
The good turnout over the series and plenty of new members signing up to our facebook page made for another fantastic season of vintage enduro riding and all but one event this year was run in dry conditions so finishing rates were high on average.  We hope that the 2019/20 season may be extended  from September to April, hopefully with up to six rounds to look forward to.

2019/2020 SEASON
Next season will also see Andrew Robertson stepping in to co-ordinate the series while John Nick is overseas over the winter.  As usual regular updates and announcements will be posted on our Vinduro NZ facebook page. There's a link to this at the top of the page.

Help is needed to organise events!
After several years Vinduro NZ is coming along very well. We do however need  enthusiasts to help set out and help run events. Last year we asked riders to become involved in helping out at events and thanks to those of you who took up the challenge and volunteered.
Any rider who does help at an event and misses riding gets an average of their score at their other rounds to add to a series total, so there's an incentive to help make Vinduro viable. Riders who have gained points this way have an H against the round they helped run. Remember that Vinduros are complex and time intensive events to run and no one owes us anything, it's self help or nothing. We hope to see many more H s showing up in the results next year.
